Again,i am switching from my current soil grow, and am going to be slowly switching over an all perlite grow in the traditional bucket with 1 small hole about 3-4 inches from the bottom of the 5 gallon buckets...My question is,my tomatoes were actually given to me by a close friend who uses the floranova system. He swears by it,and im worried switching over the recipe for success will be too much for them.He ran a regimen of 1.0 ec flora nova grow, and a steady ph of 5.8...I know i need to run the same ec and ph as he was,im just worried that my ec will be too high following your recipe. If the box says it will give me an e.c. of 2.0 for the grow in your kit,if i cut it down to exactly half the dose of each, will it be ok?I have an ec meter but dont want to have to go through trial and error and send the big girls into shock.they have been maintained longer than i have been gardening,so it would be a shame.I also have used your products for years for my soil projects, but never went semi-hydro yet.I dont want to move away from your products,I love how you pack everything in one nice neat pack, for 1/4 the price of AN.Please get back to me soon.they need feed tonight.
Second question.he feeds every time he waters.can i do the same with your stuff,or no?

You can switch to our RFS without fear and yes you can cut the dosage down if you want to play it safe.
That having been said, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" ; if these plants are fine with their current nutrient program and you are concerned, than don't mess with it. Wait till you have taken new cuttings and begin a new crop with the RFS program.
In regard to your second question, as Perlite does not retain nutrient as does your previous soil mixture, you can feed with every watering cycle as your friend did (this is really a hydroponic system in essence).
Thanks for your continued support of our Brand.
Customer Service.
