I was wondering if AB is supposed to make a white mist when it's added to the resevoir?

MadCow,
The cloud that appears when you add Awesome Blossoms to your reservoir is completely normal and is nothing to worry about. It is caused by the high concentrations of phosphates in this product and will dissipate as the solution in your tank continues to mix.

Hawg,
The salts found in almost all fertilizers will make the pH of most waters drop when mixed in. Be sure to check and adjust the pH of your nutrient solution after mixing it up and before running it through your system.
