I have a viscous mother plant I would like to keep. I am in week 8 (Recipe for Success) of the flowering stage and would like to keep the plant. Would it be a good idea to use a weak soulution of Thrive Alive Red to prevent plant shock?

Woody,
At this point of reproductive growth, reverting your plant to a vegetative cycle will take some time and effort. Using TA is of benefit as usual, but will not prevent the "shock" of a late flowering plant being forced to revert. Expect slow and stunted growth for some time until your plant adjusts to the radical change it is about to undergo. In the future, it is best to keep plants that have never been flowered as stock plants (mothers).
Thanks for your question.
